in Hartford, Connecticut, unexpectedly at forty-five years of age. Beloved son of Charles Ryan of Somerville and the late Jinene (Trapp) Ryan. Loving husband of Brooke Ryan of Woburn. Cherished father of Keith A. Ryan, Jr. of VT, Kerri Lumbra of CO, Shane O’Neil, Alexa and Madison Ryan, all of Woburn. Dear brother of Charles and Dennis Ryan of MA and Brandi Ryan of CT. Devoted grandfather of Teddy, Zander and Julian. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Keith A. Ryan, passed away unexpectedly, August 1st, in Hartford, Connecticut, at forty-five years of age.

Raised and educated in Somerville, Keith was one of four children to Charles Ryan of Somerville and the late Jinene (Trapp) Ryan.

Keith worked as a laborer for most of his life, being a member of the Builders and Wreckers Union. He was a very bright and articulate man, with a great sense of humor and love for learning. He enjoyed watching documentaries and exposing himself to new ideas and things.

Keith’s greatest accomplishment was his children. He loved them dearly and enjoyed spending any time he could with them. Fishing was a favorite hobby of his and he would travel anywhere with his kids. If he wasn’t spending time with his children, he enjoyed visiting the race track with friends.  Keith will be remembered and deeply missed  for his HUGE heart and un-ending love of his children and family.

Survived by his father Charles, Keith was the loving husband of Brooke Ryan of Woburn. Cherished father of Keith A. Ryan, Jr. of VT, Kerri Lumbra of CO, Shane O’Neil, Alexa and Madison Ryan, all of Woburn. Dear brother of Charles and Dennis Ryan of MA and Brandi Ryan of CT. Devoted grandfather of Teddy, Zander and Julian. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

    I’m over here still trying to wrap my head around this. You have been apart of our family for almost my whole life!! The crazy uncle who could make anyone smile and would do anything for anyone. You are going to be truly missed, but I am so happy I have a lifetime of memories to look back on. I will not let you go forgotten by your nieces and nephew, the love you had for them was genuine and kind. You will not be forgotten Keith. We all love you and I pray you are peace now! Until we all meet again 🙁

  7. Keith, it is hard to find the words when I truly can’t believe this is real. From the first day you met Brooke you became our family. I can’t remember a holiday without your laughter, a smile from ear to ear. You had the gift of making everyone around you smile. Seth wanted to tell you he loves you the world. You were and will always remain his only uncle. He remembers the last time you two spoke and you telling him you loved him. He will have that memory forever. I hope you are resting peacefully and all the hurt is gone. We will all miss you forever Keith. Fly high wiht the Angels and watch over us always❤️

You will be thought about, talked about , laughed about & remembered everyday for rest of our lives❤️ I wish I had one more day just one to try to help you!
