Lorraine M. (Waterson) White

of Woburn, July 24th, 2018, at eighty-six years of age.  Beloved wife of Paul R. White of Woburn.  Devoted mother of Paul White Jr, his wife Doreen of Natick, Kevin White, his wife Barbara of Lynnfield and the late James White, his wife Kathy of Burlington.  Loving twin sister of the late Loretta Duggan. Cherished grandmother of Nora, Michael and Leah of Natick and Owen and Lily of Lynnfield.  A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on  Saturday,  July  28th at 9 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Barbara Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn at 10 a.m. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours at the funeral home Friday, from 4-8 p.m. Remembrances may be made in Lorraine’s memory to the Activities Fund at Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center 18 Frances Street, Woburn, MA 01801. For directions or to leave an online condolence, please visit www.lynch-cantillon.com or Facebook under Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home.

 

Lorraine M. (Waterson) White, of Woburn, died peacefully, Tuesday, July 24th, surrounded by her Family at Woburn Nursing Center, at eighty-six years of age.  She was the beloved wife of over 54 years to Paul R. White.

Born in Boston, Lorraine was a daughter of the late James and Catherine (Haggerty) Waterson. She was educated in Boston and a graduate of Practical Arts High School.  She was a proud member of St. Brendan Parish in Dorchester.  She loved playing drums in the CYO marching band.

Lorraine worked at Factory Mutual Engineering of Norwood and Later at the New England Rehabilitation Center in Woburn.  She was a loving, dedicated and devoted mother who gave her life for her family. She supported her sons in their various sports and activities that continued on with her grandchildren. “Grams” was a frequent spectator and cheerleader at many of their Hockey Games and events.

In her early years, Lorraine enjoyed square dancing with the Yankee Twirlers, bowling and ceramics.  She enjoyed traveling around the East Coast and visiting Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casino with her husband.  She enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and friends.

Survived by her husband Paul, Lorraine will be deeply missed by her children, Paul White Jr., his wife Doreen of Natick, Kevin White, his wife Barbara of Lynnfield and the late James White, his wife Kathy of Burlington. Cherished grandmother of Nora, Michael and Leah of Natick and Owen and Lily of Lynnfield. 

She was predeceased by her twin sister, Loretta Duggan.
