Helen E. King (Paicopolos)-of Woburn, Tuesday, July 3rd. Loving mother of Michele E. Hutcheon and her husband Bill of Clinton,  Deborah G. Danizio and her husband Jack of Billerica, Sheryl L. Hunt and her husband Joseph of Billerica, and Janet E. King of FL. Dear sister of the late Rose Smithell, Peter Picopolus, Mary Vespucci, Michael Paicopolos, Spero Paicopolos, Harold Paicopolos, Janet Paleologos, Marie Manzi, and John Paicopolos. Cherished “ Yia-Yia” of Heather A. Tortorici and Heidi E. Goodrich. Great “Yia-Yia” to James IV and Gianna. Helen was the long time companion of Sante Fava of Winchester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, July 9th at  9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in Annunciation Of The Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 70 Montvale ave, Woburn, at 10.  Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours at the Funeral Home, Sunday July 8th, from 4:00-8:00 p.m.

Helen E. (Paicopolos) King, passed away at the Winchester Hospital on Tuesday, July third. A life long resident of Woburn she was ninety two years of age.

Born in Woburn, she was one of ten children born to the late George and Vasiliki (Bella) Maninos Paicopolos. Raised and educated in Woburn, she was a graduate of Woburn High School along with the Class of 1943.  Helen remained very active in organizing the reunions over the years, with her classmates.

Helen’s profession throughout the years was that of a Bookkeeper. Having worked at RCA, then to Sylvania and for many years between the  Woburn District Court and the City of Woburn Assessor’s Office.

Helen was the very proud mother of four daughters. Over the years there were many vicarious shopping trips, plays, movie and just a lot of fun times spent together. 

Helen was an avid traveler, and traveled the world visiting Italy, Greece, China, Australia, Japan, Germany, Peru, Brazil, Switzerland and her time share in Aruba.

Helen loved to dance! She was also a woman with a strong sense of style and never left the house without looking her best.   A vibrant and determined woman, Helen shared her  strong worth ethic with her children and grandchildren.  Truly a very  warm, loveable, caring and kind person, she loved everyone  .   Helen enjoyed nothing more than laughing and giggling  sharing  a great outlook on life. She was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed!
