Dear friend of Isabel (Kelly) Halliday of Nashua, NH, and her children, Robert Halliday of Goshen, NH , Kimberly Halliday of Palm Harbor, FL, Lisa Merrill, her husband Greg of Tyngsboro, MA, Maureen Halliday of Palm Harbor, FL, and Patricia Wiegelman, her husband Eric of Hooksett, NH. Former husband of Judith Bowe of Lexington, MA and her children, Silas Hudson Bunce III of Nevada, Jennifer Bunce of Brighton, MA, William Bunce of Texas and Stephanie Mitchell of Lexington, MA. A Funeral Service will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, Thursday, June 14th at 11:30 a.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester. Edward L. “Ted” Sullivan, of Nashua, NH, formerly of West Harwich, Sudbury and Woburn, MA, died peacefully, Sunday, June 10th at Nashua Crossing in Nashua. He was eighty-nine years of age.

Born in Meriden, CT, Ted was a son of the late Edward and Margaret (Kearns) Sullivan. He was educated in Medford and received his Bachelors Degree in Mathematics from Tufts University, Class of 1952. In December of 1952, Ted served his country proudly as a Second Lieutenant for the US Air Force, until being honorably discharged.

In the years following his discharge from the Air Force, Ted found a passion in Refereeing High School Football. It was something he enjoyed and excelled at. He was an avid sports fan and particularly had a love for golf.

In 1966, Ted co-founded Sullivan & Cogliano Designers Inc., which is still in existence today. There he specialized in helping recruit engineers for various positions.

Ted was a smart, compassionate and caring man who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved the Cape and spending summers there. In more recent years he enjoyed solving crossword puzzles and enjoying a cup of ice cream. He will be dearly missed.
