John G. Buscemi, 95, of Woburn, died peacefully, Saturday, May 26th at the Blaire House in Tewksbury. He was the beloved husband of Anna Louise (Martin) and the late Virginia Louise (Olsen) Buscemi.

Born in Boston, John was a son of the late Ernest and Grace (Christopher) Buscemi. He was raised and educated in Medford and a graduate of Medford High School. Upon graduation, John served his country proudly as part of the US Coast Guard during WWII. He enjoyed reminiscing about his time overseas and all the memories he made with his fellow Coast Guardsmen.

For many years, John worked as a salesman for the Diesel Engine Company.

In his spare time John enjoyed golfing, visiting his family and taking long drives, even driving even cross country a few times. He was also an avid football fan and loved watching the games on Sunday’s.

Along with his wife Anna “Louise” of Woburn, John was the loving grandfather of John Therrien and Danielle Buscemi.

He was predeceased by his children, John Paul and Linda Catherine Buscemi, and his siblings, Michael, Frederick, Joseph, Evelyn and Rose.
