OBITUARY:

Edna M. (Moschella) Mahoney passed away at her home in Orlando, FL, surrounded by her beloved family. The devoted daughter of Anthony Moschella and his wife Joan and the late Eva (Spinney)Moschella, she was fifty five years of age.

Born in Somerville she was a graduate of Somerville High School with the Class of 1980. Edna began working at East Coast Aero Technology for a bit then to Griffen and for over the last eight years had been working with Maicom, right up until just recently.

Edna brought two children into the world with whom she was so very devoted to and so proud of. She had been a stay ay home Mom until the children went to school, at which time she too decided to go to school! She had attended Bentley College where she received her Associates Degree in Business.

When Edna became a “Nana” she was delighted. Spending precious time with the little ones was always very special to her. Over the years she passed on her love of the beach, to not just her children but her grandchildren. Long walks, basking in the sun and watching the sunset were times she enjoyed. Going to the movies and keeping up on all the latest films on TV and in the theatres, also were times enjoyed by herself or with her family and friends.

Family was the all out, the most important part of Edna’s life. She shared a “special” relationship with her twin Eva but nothing made her happier than to be with her children, grandchildren, sisters, brother and all their families, all throughout her life.

Along with her father, Anthony,Edna is lovingly survived by her dear children, Michael J. Mahoney, his wife Amanda of Bradford and Carolyn A. Hickman, her husband Daniel of FL. Devoted sister of Annette Moschella of Woburn, Anthony Moschella, his wife Deborah of FL and her dear twin sister Eva Minichiello, her husband Robert of Woburn and FL. Cherished “Nana” of Landon Terry, Liam and Lilyana Mahoney, Mia and Savannah Hickman. A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, February 19th at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Barbara’s Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn at 10 a.m. Interment is private.
