Richard L. Rich DuBrock, formerly of Woburn, passed away at his home in Tewksbury on Monday, November 27th surrounded by his loving family. The beloved husband of the late Robin (Murray) DuBrock, he was 62 years of age.
Born and raised in New Castle, PA, Rich was one of four siblings born to Janet (Pittaway) DuBrock of AZ and the late Calvin. He attended the Lawrence County Career and Technical Center where he graduated from.
Rich, after finishing his schooling, worked for an asbestos removal company for many years where he had the opportunity to travel all over the country. After a while, Rich had developed a passion for masonry. He began a new career as a mason, establishing his own business and was most successful.
Rich moved to Woburn, where he met the love of his life Robin, while doing masonry on an office building. They dated for a while and later married and brought their wonderful daughter Meghan into the world. They cherished their time together all throughout life. Sadly, Robin passed away in 2001.
Meghan was “Daddy’s little girl” and over the years, has always remained “Daddy’s little girl!” Meghan had a wonderful group of friends she grew up with and Rich always watched out for them like he did Meghan. Everything they did, always together: Rich coached Meghan’s softball team that Meghan was on, academic and social gatherings, he was always there.
Family always took preference over anything else. Rich also remained very close to his mom over the years, always making sure to check in with her every day in Phoenix.
Rich always enjoyed a good round of golf with friends at various golf clubs throughout New England; never missing a Red Sox game if at all possible on television!
A very kind, soft spoken, caring man Rich lived life to the fullest. Family was first in everything he did. Truly, Rich was one of the sweetest, most kind-hearted, generous and loving man, such a special relationship with those he shared his life with. ,
Sadly, in addition to his Dad, Rich was pre-deceased by his wife Robin and two sisters Roxane Ritichie and Marsi Skenandore.
