Albert Albie Calixto, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, October 25th at the age of fifty five. Albie was the loving father of Vanessa Melanson. Born and raised in Woburn, he was the son of the late Espel Calixto and Benita Sanchez. He resided in Woburn with his beloved mother for the majority of his life.
A hard working man throughout his life, Albie worked for AT&T and then on to Raytheon right up until not too long ago.

Though Albie was a lifetime resident of Woburn, he was very proud of his Puerto Rican heritage. Puerto Rican food, including beans, rice and with yucca were all things he very much enjoyed eating which took him back to his roots.
Known for being physically active and very social, Albie always enjoyed playing a game of pool or rollerblading around. The Moose Family Club and the South End Italian Club were places he frequented, socializing with family and friends. In addition, Albie was known to be very good at cutting a little rug on the dance floor in true Albie fashion!
