OBITUARY:

Nancy J. (Stygles) Nieves passed away at the Kaplan House in Danvers after a lengthly illness. The beloved wife of the late Manuel Nieves she was sixty one years of age.

Born in Winchester she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Costello) Stygles.

Nancy was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School Class of 1963.

Nancy began working for a transportation company after high school. In the mean time she had met Manuel Nieves, whom she married and a short time later, began her family. They later moved to Puerto Rico where they raised their children.

In 2010 they returned to Woburn and Nancy began working for a transportation company once again transporting children to and from school, which she so enjoyed.

Although her health impeded her somewhat, she never gave in and always made the best of every day and every situation.

Shopping was always a favorite past time and one which she enjoyed doing with her family, always in search of a bargain!

Over this last year it had been very difficult for Nancy, but she stayed in touch with everyone and cherished the moments spent with her family.

Sadly she was predeceased by her parents, Joe and Mary Stygles, her husband Manuel and two children Manuel and Kerry Nieves.
