Stanley S. Simeone passed away at his home after a brief illness. The beloved husband of Marjorie (Leonard) Simeone, he was seventy seven years of age.

Born in Medford, he was the son of the late Stanley V. and Concetta (DeMilla) Simeone. Raised and educated in Medford, he was a graduate of Medford High School along with the Class of 1957. Stan had learned the fine art of carpentry. Throughout the years Stan began in heavy construction where he was involved involved in the commercial end of carpentry eventually becoming a home and addition specialist. He was exceptional at the fine art of designing and always had very creative and interesting plans.

Stan had also enjoyed being involved in the family restaurant business. He was the chef over at Simeone’s restaurant for seven years, where he met Marjorie Donovan. They married fifty years ago and have been devoted to each other and their children. They had moved to CT and NV briefly, then

moved to Woburn where they have remained over the years.

Ogunquit, Maine was always the choicest spot over the summertime with the family. They spent many wonderful vacations there where all the family gathered and shared many fun times.

One summer Stan and the family opened a pizza a shop in Wareham. From the beginning of the season to the end, Stan had made just over five thousand pizza’s, with his family right by his side, assisting him!

Over the years he and Margy travelled all throughout Europe and the Scandanavian countries. When the winters arrived in later years, it was time to head south where they took up residence in Jupiter, Florida. He was actively involved in all sorts of activities there, his favorite being his ” senior softball team”, which he had played, right up through last winter. Entertaining at home and in Florida was always looked forward to, with Stan in full control of the kitchen! Sharing his love of cooking with friends and family was always an act of love, to the pleasure of all!

Stan had been an active member in the Burlington Lions then when he moved to Woburn he was a proud member of the Middlesex Lions organization having always participated in the Halloween Parade and Christmas Tree sales and enjoyed every minute.

  1. Chris Landry As Crystal Lumber Company’s newest employee (March ’94), I haven’t known Stan as long as my fellow employees but found him over the years to be one of my/our favorite customers as well as friends. I’ll miss “Rodney Dangerfield” coming in to see us as well as conduct business. I’ll miss Stan calling me from Florida on his cell phone with his feet in the surf in the winter months to tell me how nice/warm the water and weather was. To Vinnie, his Mother and the rest of the family, my deepest sympathies… Heaven got a good one.
