Donald D. Demasi, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 3rd in Danvers. He was sixty seven years of age.

Raised and educated in Woburn, Mr. Demasi was proud lifelong resident of the city. He worked for many years as a newspaper printer both locally and in Boston. When he was not working, he could be found fishing; one of his favorite pastimes. Donald spent many hours fishing local ponds and lakes but especially enjoyed trips on Boston Harbor. He was a passionate pool player and would take on any and all challengers. A wonderful cook, he took great pleasure in cooking for his family and friends but in particular, he liked to cook with his grandchildren.

A true family man, Donald always put others before himself. He was always finding ways to help his family and friends and would never hesitate to help those in need. 1. Don was like a brother to me growing up. I remember the night his daughter, my niece, Jeanne was born. We stayed up all night for her birth and I never saw a father so in love with his baby girl. He will be sadly missed but remembered having a smile on his face like he was always happy to see you. The world has lost another great guy. Love you, Lynne
