OBITUARY:

Linda Kathryn Buscemi, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Woburn, passed away on Wednesday, September 30th. She was sixty-seven years of age. She was the beloved daughter of John Buscemi and his wife Anna Louise Buscemi and the late Virginia Louise (Olson) Buscemi.

Linda was born in Medford, a daughter to John and the late Virginia (Olson) Buscemi. She was raised in Woburn and attended the Daniel p. Hurld School. Linda and her family were intricately involved in the very beginnings of CMARC in Woburn. Early meetings of the group were as simple as local families coming together to talk and socialize. As Linda grew older, time spent with the CMARC group became a great joy. Linda was employed by Servomation, Inc. in Stoneham for nineteen years, where she helped with food preparation.

Linda loved to travel with her family. They made trips to islands in the Carribean, Las Vegas and traveled to California a number of times. In the late 1980s, Linda moved to Cape Coral, Florida with her father and his wife, Anna Louise. More than anything, Linda enjoyed time with her family. She truly had a genuine love for all people.

In addition to her mother Virginia, Linda was sadly predeceased by her brother John P. Buscemi.

She is lovingly survived by her father, John Buscemi and his wife Anna Louise of Woburn; her sister-in-law Andree Buscemi; her niece Daniele Buscemi and her nephew John T. Buscemi.

A calling hour will be held at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Tuesday, October 6th from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St Barbara’s Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn at 10. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Remembrances may be made in Linda’s name to NuPath, 147 New Boston Street, Woburn, MA 01801.
