OBITUARY:

David A. Kilmain passed away Monday, July 27th at the Parmenter Parlin Hospice House in Wayland. The beloved husband of Moira (Mahoney) Kilmain, he was fifty-six years of age.

Born in Newton, David was the son of the late Albert and Ellen (Weagle) Kilmain. Raised and educated in Waltham, he was a graduate of Waltham High School. He graduated from Waltham Hospital School of Nursing and for the last fifteen years David worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room at Mount Auburn Hospital.

David married his soul mate and best friend Moira (Mahoney) Kilmain. Bringing two daughters into the world, David was a very devoted Dad; they were his pride and joy!

Visiting Ireland on several occasions, they all so enjoyed the western coast, where they would predominately spend their time. He would often enjoy a game of the golf when leisure time was ever available!

A very bright, articulate, hard working gentleman David was totally involved in all that he did. Amongst his colleagues and peers he was highly regarded for his most kind, sensitive and compassionate attention given to patients and colleagues alike. As a husband, Dad, brother and friend, these same wonderful attributes were ever present.

David was sadly predeceased by his parents.

He is lovingly survived by his wife Moira; his daughters, Celia and Rose Kilmain, both of Woburn; his brothers, Richard and Christopher Kilmain, both of FL; his mother-in-law, Grace Mahoney of Lexington; and his in-laws, Anne Mahoney of Billerica, Maggie and Matthew Mahoney, both of Roslindale, and Monica Mahoney of Lexington; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Friday, July 31st at 9:15 a.m. followed a Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10.
