PATRICIA J. (CULLEN) DONOHOE – of Jensen Beach, FL, formerly of Woburn, Wednesday, June 3rd. Beloved wife of the late John J. “Jack” Donohoe. Devoted mother of Maureen Gallagher and her husband Danny of Lexington, Mark Donohoe of Andover, Marcia Donohoe of Jensen Beach, FL, Jay Donohoe and his wife Beth of York, ME, Barry Donohoe and his wife Linda of N. Hampton, NH, Shawn Donohoe of N. Grosvenordale, CT, and the late Kevin and Michael Donohoe. Loving mother-in-law of Donna Donohoe of Georgetown. Dear sister of Robert Cullen and his wife Chris of Gloucester and FL, and the late John “Jackie” Cullen, Paul Cullen, and Rosalie Stygles. Cherished grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also survived by many loving in-laws, along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, June 8th at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to call at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Patricia’s memory to the Melanoma Foundation of New England in Memory of Michael Donohoe, 111 Old Road 9 Acre Corner, Concord, MA 01742 or to St. Jude’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

OBITUARY:

Patricia Josephine (Cullen) Donohoe passed away peacefully in Florida on Wednesday, June 3rd. The beloved wife of the late John J. “Jack” Donohoe, she was eighty-seven years of age.

Born in Woburn in 1928, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Nolan) Cullen. One of five children, she was raised in Woburn, where she attended St. Charles School, graduating with the Class of 1946.

As a young woman, Patricia met a gentleman named Jack Donohoe. The two married and raised their family of seven children in Woburn. In 1974 they moved to Rye, NH where they worked together in Real Estate and had many fun years walking the beach.

In 2007, Patricia moved to live with her daughter Marcia in Florida, where she has remained. Her greatest joy in life was being grandmother to her thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her love of her family will be her lasting legacy and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Patricia was sadly predeceased by her husband, Jack; her sons, Kevin and Michael Donohoe; and her siblings, John “Jackie” Cullen, Paul Cullen, and Rosalie Stygles.

She is lovingly survived by her children, Maureen Gallagher and her husband Danny of Lexington, Mark Donohoe of Andover, Marcia Donohoe of Jensen Beach, FL, Jay Donohoe and his wife Beth of York, ME, Barry Donohoe and his wife Linda of N. Hampton, NH, and Shawn Donohoe of N. Grosvenordale, CT; her daughter-in-law, Donna Donohoe of Georgetown; her brother, Robert Cullen and his wife Chris of Gloucester and FL; and her thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; as well as many loving in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
