OBITUARY:

Sandra L. (Little) Lisacki passed away with her family by her side on Monday, May 25. The long beloved wife of Joseph J. Lisacki Jr., she was 76 years of age.

Born in Boston, she was one of three children born to the late Andrew and Marion (Arnold) Little. Raised and educated in Woburn, and Northborough, she was a graduate of Northborough High School. There weren’t many places you could go where someone did not know her. Her laughter, beautiful smile could light up a room but if she had an opinion she wouldn’t hesitate to express it.

She worked at Zayres, Jim & Rose Catering, and the Woburn City Athletic Club. Her utmost happiness in life was when she raised her children and later continued to watch her grandchildren grow.

She loved spending quality time with family including Deer Isle Maine, Hampton Beach, Cape Cod and the Woburn City Athletic Club Outings at Winning Farms.

Many of her favorite activities were dancing, crocheting, coffee with neighbors (Sankra), cooking, rides to Horn Pond with Joe and her coffee. She was an avid sport fan and enjoyed her grandchildren partaking in their sport activities whether it was through her support or her presence. There was never an occasion that went by without Sandy sending the right greeting card to mark that special remembrance.

Sandra’s family was her life. She met the love of her life Joe at Louie’s pizza. They loved to dance at the Old YMCA in Woburn. They were married for 59 years. They raised 8 children in Woburn and were very active in the city.

Sandra was sadly predeceased by her siblings, Colby Little and Ann McGrath, and her son-in-law, Robert “Boo” Johnson, Jr.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Joseph; her children, Nancy A. DeLucia and her husband Eddie of North Reading, Susan A. Ingalls and her husband Michael of FL, Linda J. Johnson and her boyfriend Steven Komenchuk of Tewksbury, Paul A. Lisacki and his wife Margaret, Jodi L. George and her husband David, all of Woburn, Jill M. McManus and her husband Derek, Heidi Ellen Cooke and her husband Thomas, all of Dracut, and Shari J. Ranieri and her husband Rocco of Burlington; her grandchildren, Lisa, Tammi, Michael, Chris, Keri, Robbie, Kristina, David Jr., Kaitlyn, Kyle, Kassie, Kayla, Craig, Joey, and Jake; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Vincent Jr., Bryson, James, Mason, and Nicholas; and her nieces, Jean Brusseau of Dracut and Sharon Robichaud of Rochester, NH; as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, June 1st at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn at 10. I was saddened to learn today—first from her very brief obit. at the Legacy site—that Sandra has passed away. We lived very near each other in childhood and I remember her red hair and the fun she was to play with. Our mothers were best friends, and it sounds as if Sandra grew up to be just as great a person as I remember “Aunty Marion” to have been. What a happy life Sandra had, how many children she was blessed with—and how much she was loved! I am sorry I never got to meet her beloved Joe and the rest of the family, but happy to know that hers was a life well-lived. Please accept my condolences on your loss.
