LYNN P. (BOLDUC) MURPHY – in Woburn, December 27th. Beloved wife of Robert E. “Spud” Murphy. Devoted mother of Jennifer Del Dotto Carlson and her husband Peter of Rockport and Ronald Del Dotto and his wife Melissa of NH. Dear sister of David Bolduc and his wife Jeanne of Mattapan. Loving grandmother of Freddie, Richard, William, and Michael. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, December 29th, from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral services and interment will be private. Donations may be made in Lynn’s memory to VNA Hospice Care, Inc., 100 Sylvan Road, G-500, Woburn, MA 01801.

OBITUARY:

Lynn Murphy, a longtime Woburn resident, passed away in Melrose, surrounded by her family, on Monday, December 27th, at the age of sixty-one. She was the beloved wife of Robert E. “Spud” Murphy for the past seventeen years.

Born in Long Beach, California, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Nesto) Bolduc. She was raised in Dorchester and graduated from South Boston High School with the Class of 1968. She met her husband “Spud” thirty years ago and they took up residence in Woburn. In recent years she lived for her grandchildren and enjoyed a close relationship with her daughter and son. They had wonderful times at the beach, watching movies, and taking trips to Florida together.

Surviving, along with her husband Bob, are two children, Jennifer Del Dotto Carlson and her husband Peter of Rockport and Ronald Del Dotto and his wife Melissa of NH, and her brother, David Bolduc and his wife Jeanne of Mattapan. She was also the loving grandmother of Freddie, Richard, William, and Michael.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, December 29th, from 3 to 7 p.m.

Funeral services and interment will be private.

Donations may be made in Lynn’s memory to VNA Hospice Care, Inc., 100 Sylvan Road, G-500, Woburn, MA 01801.
