DANIEL L. MULLEN – age 71, in Woburn, April 15th. Son of the late John J. and Mary (Connolly) Mullen. Beloved brother of Thomas F., Robert J. and his wife Mary, and Richard P., all of Woburn, Margaret Haig and her husband Robert of Burlington, Sally Lambert and her husband Lawrence and Ronald C. and his wife Laurie, all of Methuen, and the late Mary Pica, Carol and John Mullen. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, April 18th at 9:45 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 8 to 9:45 a.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Donations may be made in Dan’s memory to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave., Ste 2, Norwood, MA 02062-5040.

OBITUARY:

Daniel L. Mullen, 71, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away at the Woburn Nursing Center on Wednesday, April 15th, following a lengthy illness. He was the one of ten children of the late John J. and Mary (Connolly) Mullen.

Dan was born in Woburn and graduated from Woburn High School. He worked as a laborer for several businesses throughout his life, including Johnson Roses, Marshall’s Warehouse, BJ’s Warehouse, and most recently was employed by Winchester Country Club as a maintenance worker. A quiet, unassuming man, he was devoted to his siblings and many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews. He loved watching all types of sports, and was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Pica and Carol Mullen, and a brother, John Mullen.

Surviving are four brothers: Thomas F., Robert J. and his wife Mary, and Richard P. Mullen, all of Woburn, and Ronald C. and his wife Laurie of Methuen, and two sisters: Margaret Haig and her husband Robert of Burlington and Sally Lambert and her husband Lawrence of Methuen. He also leaves many loving nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, April 18th at 9:45 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 8 to 9:45 a.m.
