THOMAS J. McCORMACK – age 49, of N. Reading, formerly of Woburn, unexpectedly, August 14th. Beloved father of Thomas G. and Sean P. McCormack, both of Pelham, NH. Loving son of Paul McCormack of Woburn and the late Mary T. (Connolly) McCormack. Dear brother of David, Timothy, and Karen, all of Woburn, Kenneth of Revere, and the late Dennis, Kevin, and John. Former husband of Kim (Dallaire) Silver of Pelham, NH. At the family’s request, funeral services will be private. Arrangements by the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.

OBITUARY:

Thomas J. McCormack of North Reading, a former Woburn resident, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 14th. The son of Paul McCormack of Woburn and the late Mary T. (Connolly) McCormack, he was forty-nine years of age.

Tom was born, raised, and educated in Woburn, graduating from Woburn High School with the class of 1977. He lived in Pelham, New Hampshire for a number of years before returning to live in Woburn twelve years ago. Tom worked as a truck driver for Dallaire and Dallaire Trucking in Pelham, New Hampshire for many years. He was a faithful fan of all the Boston sports teams, and enjoyed golfing in his free time. Blessed with a great sense of humor, he enjoyed making people laugh.

Along with his mother, Tom was preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis, Kevin, and John.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas G. and Sean P. McCormack, both of Pelham, New Hampshire, his father, Paul McCormack of Woburn, three brothers, David and Timothy, both of Woburn, and Kenneth of Revere, and a sister, Karen, of Woburn. He was the former husband of Kim (Dallaire) Silver of Pelham, NH.

At the family’s request, funeral services will be private. Arrangements are by the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.

    I had not seen Tommy in many years. It saddens me deeply that he is gone. I have many happy memories of Tommy on Union Street and in school. He made me laugh every time I saw him. He will be missed.
