JOHN L. BRIDGE – age 42, of Woburn, formerly of Everett, suddenly, July 7th. Beloved husband of Lisa A. (Devereaux) Bridge. Devoted father of John, Jake, and Jennifer, all of Woburn. Loving son of Patricia Candeloro of Fall River and the late John L. Bridge. Dear brother of Laurie A. Mazzochia of S. Yarmouth, Jeannie M. Scarpa of Andover, Patricia J. Dion of Pace, FL, and Pamela J. Dean of Panama City, FL. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Friday, July 11th at 9:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Calling hours Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem Street, Woburn. Donations may be made in John’s memory to NARSAD, 60 Cutter Mill Road, Suite 404, Great Neck, NY 11021.

OBITUARY:

John L. Bridge, 42, of Woburn, a native of Everett, died suddenly in Woburn on Monday, July 7th. He was the beloved husband of Lisa A. (Devereaux) Bridge for the past seventeen years.

John was born in Everett, the son of Patricia M. (Burgess) Candeloro of Fall River and the late John L. Bridge. He graduated from Everett High School with the Class of 1984. Since his marriage to his high school sweetheart, Lisa, he had made his home in North Woburn with his family.

John had worked for the U.S. Postal Service for the past twenty years. He worked as a letter carrier with a route in Everett.

He loved sports and was an avid golfer. John enjoyed beach vacations with his family at Old Orchard Beach in Maine. He was also involved with his children’s sports activities and truly loved spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his wife Lisa, and his mother, Patricia Candeloro of Fall River, he leaves three children: John, Jake, and Jennifer, all of Woburn, four sisters: Laurie A. Mazzochia of S. Yarmouth, Jeannie M. Scarpa of Andover, Patricia J. Dion of Pace, FL, and Pamela J. Dean of Panama City, FL, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Friday, July 11th at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, 100 Salem Street, Woburn.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Donations may be made in John’s memory to NARSAD, 60 Cutter Mill Road, Suite 404, Great Neck, NY 11021.

    I am very sorry to here about his passing I went to high school with him and he was my mailman in everett I just spoke to him a few months ago I had not seen him in years. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    I was abosolutely devastated when I heard this shocking news. Johnny was such a dear friend to me and I’m so sorry for your entire family.
