  1. I am sorry to hear about Ms. Henry’s death. My mother, Margaret Odewalt Sweeney, was a classmate at Manhattanville. I remember my mother always speaking fondly of Ms. Henry. Ms. Henry was the godmother of my brother, Don Sweeney. Don participated in the Boston Marathon several times. He would always visit with her when he was in Boston. I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Henry when I accompanied Don on a couple of the marathon trips. We had some nice visits with Ms. Henry when she was still living in Salem. A very nice lady.

  2. Robyn (Wilson) Kanter – I wanted to send my condolences to the family of Barbara Henry.
Barbara was a good friend of my Aunt Mary (Wilson).I have many fond memories of her from my childhood. Every Saturday night Mary, Barbara and the rest of their crew would get together at my Aunt’s house. My sibling’s and I used to love to “parade” up to Mary’s and visit with them.
Barbara also help me furnish my
house with some furniture she didn’t need when I was young, poor and just starting out. I still have a desk of hers!
