She went on to work as a warehouse manager for Curriculum Associates in Billerica, a position she held for ten years until her retirement. Her family was her focus in life, and she especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were a sister, Patricia DiGiovanni, and a brother, Philip Guilfoyle.

Surviving along with her husband Howard are two sons: David A. Zacchini and his wife Linda of Billerica and Daniel A. Zacchini of Woburn, and a daughter, Nancy L. Zacchini of Woburn. She was also the loving grandmother of Maria, Jacquelyn, and Kristina Zacchini.
