ETHEL IRENE (FOSTER) PERKINS – in Woburn, Thursday, October 18th, beloved wife of the late Franklin Perkins. Loving sister of Harold Foster and his wife Betty of Woburn and the late Marion Graham, Dora Foster, Jessie Stein and Sidney Foster. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Graveside Service at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn on Wednesday, October 24th at 11 a.m. Donations may be made in Ethel’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.

OBITUARY:

Ethel Irene (Foster) Perkins, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away quietly at Woodbriar of Wilmington, on Thursday evening. The beloved wife of the late Franklin Perkins, she was eighty-six years of age. Born in Woburn, Ethel was the daughter of the late Waldo and Elizabeth (Smith) Foster. One of six children, Ethel lived her entire life in the Central Square section of Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School, Class of 1938.

Ethel was a secretary for many years for the John L. Fowle Company in Woburn. She loved to read and spend time with her family.

Ethel was predeceased by her husband , Franklin Perkins, who passed away in 1973 and her siblings, Marion Graham, Dora Foster, Jessie Stein and Sidney Foster.

She is survived by her brother, Harold Foster and his wife Betty of Woburn and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Graveside Service at Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn on Wednesday, October 24th at 11 a.m. Donations may be made in Ethel’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.
