His love of sports continued throughout his life. During his working years he organized golf leagues for his co-workers, and continued pursuing his passion for golf well into his retirement years. He was an avid bowler, participating in the Monday night retired men’s bowling league at the Woburn Bowladrome, and followed local sports teams faithfully.
Gus and his wife Betty lived with their family in Billerica for over thirty-five years, and eight years ago moved to Derry. Throughout this time they maintained close connections to family and friends in Woburn.
