Kelley – in Woburn, Thursday, November 23rd, Margaret G. Beloved daughter of the late James L. and Catherine (O’Hara) Kelley. Devoted sister of Dorothy Gasbarro of Woburn and the late Miriam Noonan and James L. Kelley Jr. Loving aunt of many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, November 27th at 8:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Barbara’s Church, Cambridge Road, Woburn at 9:30 a.m. Calling hours Sunday 2-4 p.m. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

OBITUARY:

Margaret G. Kelley passed away Thursday morning, November 23rd at the age of 91. Born in Charlestown she was the daughter of the late James L. and Catherine (O’Hara) Kelley. A graduate of Charlestown High School she moved to Medford and began working at Crown Linens and there she rose to become Supervisor of the company. Miss Kelley remained there right up to her retirement which covered a span of over sixty years. Following her retirement she moved to Woburn to be nearer to her family. Many, many happy hours were spent with her loving nieces and nephews, with whom she had exceptional relationships and was affectionately known to them as ‘Aunt Sissy.’ These relationships were also carried into the next generation of the Kelley family, becoming Great Aunt Sissy. During the winter months she would travel to Florida and enjoy the warmth of the winter months and return in the springtime.

In addition to her parents, Miss Kelley was predeceased by her brother James J Kelley Jr and her sister Miriam Noonan and nephew Arthur Gasparro Jr. .

She is lovingly survived by her sister Dorothy Gasbarro of Woburn along with her many nieces , nephews and great nieces and nephews.
