JOHN K. ROLLINS – in Woburn, November 10th. Beloved husband of the late Mary A. (Benevento) Rollins. Devoted father of Margaret M. Dodge & her husband William of Londonderry, NH, Jean M. Rufo and her husband Gerald of Windham, NH, and Mary C. Barrett and her husband William of Methuen. Dear brother of Audrey Butterfield of Portsmouth, NH and Joyce Connolly of Danvers. Loving grandfather of William Jr. and Jaclyn Dodge, and Kasey and Liam Barrett. A funeral service will be held at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Tuesday, November 14th at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours at the funeral home are on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. OBITUARY:

John K. Rollins, a native of Medford who had made his home in East Woburn for over forty years, passed away at Tufts New England Medical Center on Friday, November 10th after having been in declining health this past year. The husband of the late Mary A. (Benevento) Rollins, who died in September of 2005, he was seventy-one.

Born in Stoneham, son of the late John S. and Margaret J. (Murray) Rollins, he was raised in Medford and attended schools there, graduating from Medford High School. He was a peacetime veteran of the US Navy.

Mr. Rollins worked as a sales representative for Brodie Industrial Trucks for many years, and more recently for Marshall’s warehouse in Woburn.

He was very involved in Woburn Youth Hockey for many years as a coach, and was among the first to take his team to Montreal, Quebec for a cultural exchange with hockey teams there, in a program which continues today.

He was an avid fisherman and golfer, and took many trips with his wife Mary over the years to Ft. Myers, Florida for spring training. They frequently visited Aruba and greatly enjoyed socializing with their wonderful group of friends.

Surviving are three daughters, Margaret M. Dodge & her husband William of Londonderry, NH, Jean M. Rufo and her husband Gerald of Windham, NH, and Mary C. Barrett and her husband William of Methuen, and two sisters, Audrey Butterfield of Portsmouth, NH and Joyce Connolly of Danvers. He was also the loving grandfather of William Jr. and Jaclyn Dodge, and Kasey and Liam Barrett.

A funeral service will be held at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Tuesday, November 14th at 9:30 a.m., with the Rev. Deryk Richenburg officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours at the funeral home are on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.
