LUCILLE M. (KEENE) NETT – in Woburn, July 11th. Beloved wife of Joseph C. Nett. Devoted mother of Joseph C. Nett, Jr. and his wife Patricia of N. Andover, Keith A. Nett & his wife Kathleen of Woburn, Michelle L. Dagesse and her husband John of Nashua, NH, and Brian P. Nett and his wife Helen of Pepperell. Dear sister of Ann Hamilton of Pepperell, John and Frederick Keene, both of Burlington, and the late Kevin Keene. Loving grandmother of Haley and Ashley, Kayla, Kelly, and Kevin, and Samantha, Amanda, and Madison. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, July 15th at 8:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 9. OBITUARY:

Lucille M. Nett of Woburn, long associated with The Donut Kitchen, her family’s bakery and restaurant in the Hammond Square section of the city, passed away on Tuesday, July 11th at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody following a lengthy illness. The wife of Joseph C. Nett for nearly forty-five years, she was 65.

“Lucy,” as she was known to family and friends, was born and raised in Burlington, the daughter of the late Frederick and Bridget Christina (Ryan) Keene. She was a 1958 graduate of St. Charles High School.

Following her marriage in September of 1961, she and her husband took up residence in Woburn. She was a devoted wife and mother, and in earlier years attended all of her children’s sporting events and the activities in which they were involved. In addition to raising her family, she worked part-time managing the restaurant at The Donut Kitchen until she and her husband retired a number of years ago.

She enjoyed traveling and taking care of her garden, and was a loving grandmother to her eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin Keene.

In addition to her husband Joe, she leaves four children, Joseph C. Nett, Jr. and his wife Patricia of N. Andover, Keith A. Nett & his wife Kathleen of Woburn, Michelle L. Dagesse and her husband John of Nashua, NH, and Brian P. Nett and his wife Helen of Pepperell, a sister, Ann Hamilton of Pepperell, and two brothers, John and Frederick Keene, both of Burlington.

Also surviving are her grandchildren, Haley and Ashley, Kayla, Kelly, and Kevin, and Samantha, Amanda and Madison.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, July 15th at 8:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 9. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.

    We,( her cousins), are sad to hear of her passing,yet we know that she is in God’s hands and we will see her again someday.
