  1. Judy, Tracey, Everett and Evan-I know that it’s taken a LONG time to leave a message, but somehow the occasion of “Poppa’s” burial has inspired me… I hope that having Mike finally be “home” in Woburn gives a sense of closure to your family. We certainly understand that even when death is expected, our reaction to it is not always what we expect… and that it changes as the days, weeks, months and years roll by. Knowing that your husband & father is at peace and in a place with no pain or sorrow, still doesn’t always make up for the space that they’ve left in your life and heart. Let love and fond memories fill those spaces, that is the most meaningful kind of memorial to those that have gone on before… With Fondest Regards & Love: Kiki, Rick and Chase PS Cake next year @ your house, or ours? :o)

I guess we should all be so lucky to have gone so easily.
We know it is not easy losing a loved one but he is where he wanted to be. Hope you all share very fond memories of Mike. We will miss him too. Our thoughts are with you all.

  3. Mike loved his family and saw his daughter, Tracey through her education and further success after College was done.

He was generous in spirit and in fact, to those close to him and to many who asked for help.

Mike was proud of his service to his nation. He was a loyal employee of the Town of Woburn and lived his life on his terms.

Rest well in the cemetery Veterans Circle, Mike.

  4. Dear judy,
My thoughts are with you and Tracey at this time. I have a lot of great memories of Mike..all the time he spent in Duxbury helping Rich and I turn the cottage into a home and the many times he chased our kids around the house with his electric drill!! they still talk and laugh about that after all these years! I’ll miss his phone calls to check up on us every time he heard about a storm on the South Shore. I’ll miss him. Hugs to Tracey and Evan.
    Love,
Mary (or Meem, as Mike always called me)

  5. Dear Judy: We were so sorry to hear about Mike’s passing. Recently, we were talking about the great times we had when we were all first married and living in J.P. Mike helped move us into our apartment (up four flights of stairs). We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Dorothy & Jack Cloherty.

  8. Dear Dad & Papa,
We will miss you, but will never forget you. You taught Evan the art of “sticking out his tongue’, and that will keep on getting him into trouble for a long time! We will think of you often and know you will always be with us.
    love: Tracey & Evan
