RITA G. (BOGAN) LUNDSTROM – of Woburn, October 17th. Beloved wife of the late Robert C. Lundstrom. Devoted mother of Erick J. and his wife Pamela of Andover, Timothy D. and his wife Pamela and Kenneth R. and his wife Eileen, all of Pepperell, and Lynn Stevens and her husband Gilbert of Reading. Dear sister of Laura Hall of Suncook, NH. Also survived by 12 grandchildren. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, October 19th at 9:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Calling hours Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Donations may be made in Rita’s memory to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA 01843.

OBITUARY:

Rita G. Lundstrom of Woburn passed away at the home of her son in Pepperell early Monday, October 17th, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Robert C. Lundstrom, who died in 2003.

Born in Boston seventy-one years ago, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Kathleen (Murphy) Bogan. She grew up in Boston and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School. She had made her home in Woburn since 1962.

Rita was very involved in the Woburn High School Band Guild, of which she was a founding member. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren, to whom she was devoted.

Surviving are three sons, Erick J. and his wife Pamela of Andover, Timothy D. and his wife Pamela and Kenneth R. and his wife Eileen, all of Pepperell, a daughter, Lynn Stevens and her husband Gilbert of Reading, and a sister, Laura Hall of Suncook, New Hampshire. She also leaves twelve loving grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, October 19th at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Interment will be in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Donations may be made in Rita’s memory to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street, Lawrence, MA 01843.
