Grigg of Wilmington, William E. Grigg and his wife Susan of Taunton, and Brian K. Grigg of Lowell. Dear brother of Frances M. Marra of Greenbelt, Maryland, Edythe A. Landry, Elinor F. Grigg, and Barbara A. McLaughlin, all of Woburn, and Robert E. Grigg of Manchester, New Hampshire. Loving grandfather of Katherine M. and Jason D. Elliott. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Monday, June 28th, at 9:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Calling hours are Sunday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell. Donations may be made in Ken’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.

OBITUARY:

Kenneth N. Grigg, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away Wednesday evening, June 23rd, at Winchester Hospital following an extended illness. He was the husband of Jane C. (Delano) Grigg of Woburn and the late Mary C. (Brennan) Grigg, who died in 1972.

Born and educated in Woburn, he was the son of the late Norman B. and Angie L. (Angelo) Grigg. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. He was the recipient of the Asiastic-Pacific Theatre Medal, the Philippine Liberation Medal, the American Theatre Medal, and an Amphibious Force Insignia.

Following the war, he worked for H.P. Hood Company for a number of years before going to work for Harvard University. He retired as a maintenance supervisor in HVAC at Harvard at the age of seventy.

Surviving in addition to his wife Jane are a daughter, Maryann G. Elliott of King George, Virginia, and three sons, Paul P. Grigg of Wilmington, William E. Grigg and his wife Susan of Taunton, and Brian K. Grigg of Lowell.

He was the brother of Frances M. Marra of Greenbelt, Maryland, Edythe A. Landry, Elinor F. Grigg, and Barbara A. McLaughlin, all of Woburn, and Robert E. Grigg of Manchester, New Hampshire.

He was loving grandfather of Katherine M. and Jason D. Elliott.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Monday, June 28th, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell.

Calling hours at the funeral home are on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Donations may be made in Ken’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
