Cahill, Francis M. – age 60, of Billerica and Clinton, ME, formerly of Woburn, suddenly, June 30th, husband of Kathleen E. (Paige) Cahill. Father of Francis Cahill Jr. and his wife Donna of Lowell, Karen Cahill of Hampton, NH, Beverly Wade of Woburn, and Michael Cahill and his wife Cheryl of Tewksbury. Stepfather of William Clements Jr. of Lowell and Pamela Dunford of Wilmington. Brother of Mary Foley of Billerica and the late Ann M. Andersen and James J. Cahill III. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn, on Saturday, July 5th at 9:45 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10:30. OBITUARY:

Francis M. Cahill, a native of Woburn who had made his home in Billerica and in Clinton, Maine, for many years, died suddenly in Billerica on Monday, June 30th, after having been stricken at his home. The husband of Kathleen E. (Paige) Cahill, he was sixty years of age.

Born in Woburn, he was the son of the late James J. and Mary F. (Dewire) Cahill. He grew up in Burlington and Woburn where he attended Woburn High School. Early in his life he worked at the Woburn Bowladrome, and later was self-employed as a painter for many years.

He was a member of the Towanda Club in earlier years, and also served as a bartender there.

He had most recently lived in Billerica, but maintained a residence in Clinton, Maine, where he spent a great deal of time.

Preceding him in death was a brother, James J. Cahill III, and a sister, Ann M. Andersen.

Surviving in addition to his wife Kathleen are two sons, Francis M. Cahill, Jr. and his wife Donna of Lowell and Michael Cahill and his wife Cheryl of Tewksbury; two daughters, Karen Cahill of Hampton, NH, and Beverly Wade of Woburn, a sister, Mary Foley of Billerica, and two stepchildren, William Clements, Jr. of Lowell and Pamela Dunford of Wilmington. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn, on Saturday, July 5th at 9:45 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10:30. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Friday, July 4th, from 4 to 8 p.m.
