Gaudet – in Woburn, Sunday, February 2nd, after a long illness, Norman J., beloved husband of Phyllis M. (Surette) Gaudet of Woburn. Devoted father of Monique M. Gaudet of Beverly and Renee M. Walkowicz of Acton. Dear brother of Richard of Waltham and Henry of FL, Eleanor Bowley and the late Gilbert and Roger Gaudet. Loving grandfather of Alexander G. Amero. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Thursday, February 6th at 10:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, North Woburn at 11. OBITUARY:

Norman J. Gaudet passed away Sunday evening at the Winchester Nursing Center after a lengthy illness. The husband of Phyllis M.(Surette) Gaudet, he was seventy two years of age.

Born in Waltham, he was the son of the late John and Mary Jane (LaFrenier) Gaudet. He was educated in Waltham and was a graduate of Waltham High School.

Mr. Gaudet moved to Woburn in 1966 with his family and resided in the North Woburn section of town. He was very dedicated to his family and enjoyed many pleasurable occasions with his wife, two daughters and later his grandson. An enthusiastic sports fan , Mr.Gaudet had worked at Millipore in Bedford and later at Polaroid for over twenty-five years.

In addition to his wife of forty-four years, Phyllis, he is survived by his daughters, Monique M. Gaudet of Beverly, Renee M. Walkowicz of Acton, his grandson, Alexander G. Amero, his brothers, Richard of Waltham, Henry of FL and his sister, Eleanor Bowley of Millis along with several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Gilbert and Roger Gaudet.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street Woburn on Thursday, February 6th, at 10:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, Woburn at 11.

Calling hours at the funeral home are on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
