ROSEMARY (STYGLES) SHERRY – in Woburn, December 28th, beloved mother of Cindy M. Ornellas and her husband Tim of Billerica, Michael J. Sherry III and Erin M. Sherry, both of Woburn. Loving sister of Susan Lannon and Richard “Rick” Stygles, both of Billerica, Joseph “Jay” Stygles and Julie Bradley, both of Woburn, and Nancy Nieves of Puerto Rico. Cherished grandmother of Deirdre, Cara, and Alanna Ornellas. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Thursday, January 2nd, at 8:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 100 Washington Street, Woburn, at 9. Calling hours Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

OBITUARY:

Rosemary Sherry of Woburn passed away Saturday evening, December 28th, at Winchester Hospital following a brief illness. She was fifty-two years of age.

Rosemary was born in Woburn, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Costello) Stygles. She graduated from Woburn High School with the Class of 1969, and lived in East Woburn for over twenty years. She worked as a medical billing clerk for Neighborcare, a pharmaceutical company , for the past year and a half. Previously she was employed by Medical Parameters of Woburn for thirteen years.

Rosemary was devoted to her three children, and particularly enjoyed spending time with her three granddaughters.

Surviving are two daughters, Cindy M. Ornellas and her husband Tim of Billerica, and Erin M. Sherry of Woburn; a son, Michael J. Sherry III of Woburn, three sisters, Susan Lannon of Billerica, Nancy Nieves of Puerto Rico, and Julie Bradley of Woburn, two brothers, Joseph “Jay??? Stygles of Woburn and Richard “Rick??? Stygles of Billerica.

She also leaves three beloved grandchildren, Deirdre, Cara, and Alanna Ornellas.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Thursday, January 2nd, at 8:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph’s Church, 100 Washington Street, Woburn, at 9. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 1st, from 4 to 8 p.m.
