Duncan- in Woburn, Thursday, December 5th, Ann-Marie(O’Neill) , beloved wife of the late Ernest D. Duncan. Devoted mother of Diane Burden and her husband Dean of Ohio and Ann-Marie Robichaud and her husband Dan of Ontario. Dear sister of Robert O’Neill of Charlestown, Christine McCarthy of Whitman, Helen Jacobs of Dorchester, Jean Reilly of Charlestown and the late Leonard T. and Mazie McDonough. Loving grandmother of Jessica Capaldo, Ryan Burden, Lisa and Marc Robichaud. Cherished companion to Michael Smith of Woburn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, December 9th at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, North Woburn at 10. Calling hours Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

OBITUARY:

Ann-Marie (O’Neill) Duncan, a longtime resident of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 5th. The beloved wife of the late Ernest D. Duncan, she was 69 years of age.

Born in Revere, Ann-Marie was the daughter of the late Leonard and Helena (Rome) O’Neill. She was raised in the Boston area and attended Christopher Columbus High School in the North End. She lived in Charlestown for several years before moving to Woburn where she made her home along with her husband Ernest for over forty years. In addition to raising two daughters, Ann-Marie worked for Fleet Bank in the auditing department for over twenty-five years. She was a member of the Banker’s Association, 25 Year Club. After retiring, she continued to work at Fleet on a part-time basis. In her leisure, Ann-Marie enjoyed playing Bingo and loved to travel. It was while traveling that she met her loving companion, Michael,and together they enjoyed numerous excursions over the past four years.

In addition to her husband Ernest, Ann-Marie was predeceased by her brother Leonard T. and her sister Mazie McDonough.

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Burden and her husband Dean of Dayton, Ohio, Ann-Marie Robichaud and her husband Dan of Ontario, her brother Robert O’Neill of Charlestown, her sisters, Christine McCarthy of Whitman, Helen Jacobs of Dorchester, Jean Reilly of Charlestown, her grandchildren, Jessica Capaldo, Ryan Burden, Lisa and Marc Robichaud and her companion, Michael Smith of Woburn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Monday, December 9th at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, North Woburn at 10. Calling hours at the funeral hokme are Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment is private.
