  1. Al and Bernie Briand and Family
To Janet, Michael,John and Linnea…We were very sorry to hear of Uncle John’s passing, as we know he played a very important role in your family as our father did with us. I have strong memories of our treks to Woburn, playing, but also hearing the fun our parents would be having laughing about whatever the topics of the day were. Uncle John was the favorite uncle of the Sudbury Briand clan, and so it was appropriate that he made it to NJ for our (and Jim’s) weddings. Bern and I were talking about the 75th and 80th birthday we had together…and we are so fortunate to have that memory as well. I have a picture of my parents dancing from Jim’s wedding in my study, and who is in the background dancing with Lisa but Uncle John which I showed to AJ and Gerry the other night. Please know that we are thinking of you all and Uncle John together with your mother and the Bow Street clan… He was a very special man….love Al, Bern, AJ, Gerry, Joanna and James.
