CARROLL, TIMOTHY J., JR. – in Wilmington, formerly of Woburn, November 19th, beloved husband of the late Constance A. (Miller) Carroll. Devoted father of Robert M. Carroll and his wife Susan of Wilmington and Catherine E. Oliver and her husband Harold of Laconia, NH. Dear brother of Maryellen J. Maher and her husband Denis, Ellen Mary Szetela and her husband Michael and her husband Michael, all of Woburn, and Francis Carroll and his wife Irene of Billerica. Loving grandfather of Jackie & Krissy Oliver, Patrick, Brian, and Christian Carroll, and Timmy Miller. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Friday, November 22nd, at 8:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 9. OBITUARY:

Timothy J. Carroll, Jr., a native of Woburn who had resided in Wilmington for the past twenty years, passed away at his home Tuesday afternoon following an illness of several months. The husband of the lateConstance A. (Miller) Carroll, who died four years ago, he was fifty-nine years of age.

Tim was born in Woburn, the son of the late Timothy J. and Catherine A. (Gaffney) Carroll. He attended Woburn schools and was active in sports, particularly baseball. He graduated from Woburn High School with the Class of 1960 and attended Bentley College. He began working for AtLee Corporation of Delaware in 1966, and rose to the position of Plant Supervisor. At the time of his death he had been affiliated with the company for thirty-seven years.

He enjoyed all types of sports and was a collector of baseball cards. He was a very kind, caring and gentle man who thoroughly enjoyed being with his family, especially his grandchildren in recent years.

Surviving are a son, Robert M. Carroll and his wife Susan of Wilmingto, a daughter, Catherine E. Oliver and her husband Harold of Laconia, NH, two sisters, Maryellen J. Maher and her husband Denis and Ellen Mary Szetela and her husband Michael, all of Woburn, and a brother, Francis Carroll and his wife Irene of Billerica.

He also leaves six grandchildren: Jackie and Krissy Oliver, Patrick, Brian, and Christian Carroll, and Timmy Miller, and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Friday, November 22nd, at 8:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 9. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
