Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn, on Wednesday, Nov. 20th, at 9:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10. Calling hours Tuesday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn. OBITUARY:

Rose M. Connolly, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, November 15th, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Woburn. She was 82 years of age.

Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Agnes (Brogna) Palage. She was a graduate of Woburn High School, and several weeks ago attended her 65th Class Reunion.

For more than twenty years she was employed as a secretary at the Choate Memorial Hospital in Woburn.

Rose loved to knit and was well known for her afghans, which she made for relatives and friends. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center in Woburn, and particularly loved being with her grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were three brothers: Carl, Albert, and Guy Palage, and two sisters, Josephine Dooley and Anna Duffy.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, with whom she lived for many years, Maureen A. and Jerry O’Donnell of Woburn, and her beloved grandchildren, Erin Gerlach and her husband Ted of Pembroke and Brian O’Donnell of Manchester, NH.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, November 20th, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Donations may be made in Rose’s memory to the St. Anselm College Book Fund, 100 St. Anselm Drive, Manchester, NH 03102.
