Ubilez – in Woburn, November 3rd, Jesus, beloved husband of Justina (Cirino) Ubilez. Devoted father of Luz Elena Ubilez of Puerto Rico, Alicia Carrasquillo and Jesus M. Ubilez, both of Reading, Eduardo Ubilez of Medford, and Margarita and Grisselle Ubilez, both of Randolph. Also survived by several brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will take place in Puerto Rico later this week. Local arrangements by the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, Woburn.

OBITUARY:

Jesus Ubilez, a resident of Woburn for over forty years, passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital on Sunday, November 3rd, following a long illness. He was the husband of Justina (Cirino) Ubilez for the past forty-seven years.

Born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, sixty-nine years ago, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Dolores (Ortiz) Ubiles. He was educated in Puerto Rico and came to Woburn forty years ago, where he went to work for Johnson’s Roses. He later worked for the Public Works Department of the City of Woburn, from which he retired several years ago.

In addition to his wife Justina, he leaves two sons, Eduardo Ubilez of Medford and Jesus M. Ubilez of Reading, four daughters, Luz Elena Ubilez of Puerto Rico, Alicia Carrasquillo of Reading, Margarita and Grisselle Ubilez, both of Randolph, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He also leaves several brothers and sisters in Puerto Rico.

Visitation and funeral services will take place in Loiza, Puerto Rico later in the week, with burial on Friday at Loiza Memorial Park there.
