Sheedy, Timothy M. – Age 45, in Stoneham, November 2nd, beloved husband of Anna (Ng) Sheedy. Devoted father of Timothy J. “T.J.??? Sheedy of Pocasset, Kara M. Sheedy of Lowell, and Tiana J. Sheedy of Stoneham. Son of the late George M. and Doris T. (Duran) Sheedy, Sr. Dear brother of George M. and his wife Cheryl of Carlisle, PA, Dennis J. Sheedy and his wife Krisanne of Easton, and the late Kevin P. Sheedy. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn, on Tuesday, November 5th, at 9 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, at 10. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham. Calling hours Monday 4 to 8 p.m.

OBITUARY:

Timothy M. Sheedy, a lifelong resident of Stoneham, passed away at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington Saturday evening following a brief illness. The husband of Anna (Ng) Sheedy for the past twelve years, he was forty-five years of age.

Born in Woburn, he was the son of the late George M. and Doris T. (Duran) Sheedy, Sr. He was raised and educated in Stoneham and graduated from Stoneham High School.

Tim was a former longtime employee and member of the Woburn Irish-American Club and also held membership in the Woburn Lodge of Elks.

A motorcycle enthusiast and an avid golfer, he played frequently at Hickory Hill Golf Club in Methuen. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family, and delighted in playing the role of Santa Claus at the annual family Christmas parties.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin P. Sheedy.

Surviving in addition to his wife Anna are a son, Timothy J. “T.J.??? Sheedy of Pocasset, two daughters, Kara M. Sheedy of Lowell and Tiana J. Sheedy of Stoneham; two brothers, George M. Sheedy and his wife Cheryl of Carlisle, PA, and Dennis J. Sheedy and his wife Krisanne of Easton.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main St., Woburn, on Tuesday, November 5th, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham, at 10. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Stoneham. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.

    My thoughts and sympathy to all Tim’s family and friends. I haven’t seen or spoken to Tim in many years but I knew him for a long time and I remember him being a loving father and a great friend to all those that knew him.
