Curtin, Joseph L., suddenly, October 19th, beloved husband of Margaret E. (Zeringis) Curtin. Devoted father of Carolyn Carrasquiello of Berlin, NH, Pamela McIntyre and her husband Dan of N. Reading, and Laurie Morgan and her husband John of Woburn. Brother of William Curtin and his wife Theresa of FL, Eugene Curtin and his wife Joanne of Holbrook and Shirley DePasquale and her husband Frank of Roslindale. Loving grandfather of Alissa and Joseph Curtin, Racquel, Amber, and Selena Carrasquiello, and Austen and Megan Morgan. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 9:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. OBITUARY:

Joseph L. Curtin of Woburn died suddenly at Winchester Hospital early Saturday, October 19th, after having been stricken at his home. The husband of Margaret E. (Zeringis) Curtin, with whom he recently celebrated his thirty-eighth wedding anniversary, he was seventy-four years of age.

Born in Boston, he was the son of the late William and Rosetta (Burke) Curtin. He was raised in Jamaica Plain where he graduated from high school. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.

For over thirty-nine years, Mr. Curtin was employed by Raytheon as a millwright in the West Andover location. He retired about ten years ago.

A longtime member of the Boys and Girls Club of Woburn, he was an avid swimmer who regularly used the swimming pool at the club.

In addition to his wife Margaret, he is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Carrasquello of Berlin, NH, Pamela McIntyre and her husband Dan of N. Reading, and Laurie Morgan and her husband John of Woburn; two brothers, William Curtin and his wife Theresa of Florida, and Eugene Curtin and his wife Joanne of Holbrook, and a sister, Shirley DePasquale and her husband Frank of Roslindale.

He was also the beloved grandfather of Alissa and Joseph Curtin, Racquel, Amber, and Selena Carrasquiello, and Austen and Megan Morgan.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Interment will be in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
