Benedetto – in Stoneham, Saturday, September 28th, Anna N. (LaRovere) beloved wife of the late John F. Benedetto. Devoted mother of Philip V. Milano and his wife Sandra of Saugus, Kenneth F. Benedetto and his wife Lynne of Woburn, Joanne L. Schuster and her husband Robert of Stoneham. Dear sister of the late Frank and Nicholas LaRovere, Helen Colasanti, Antoinette Drinkwater and Mary Benedetto. Loving grandmother of six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great grandchild. Cherished aunt of Hilda Colasanti and Richard Drinkwater and many other nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Wednesday, October 2nd at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Calling hours Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

OBITUARY:

Anna N. (LaRovere) Benedetto of Stoneham passed away on Saturday, September 28th, at Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center, Malden. The beloved wife of the late John F. Benedetto, she was eighty-seven years of age.

Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Constantino and Carmella (Gianntonnio) LaRovere. She was raised and educated in Everett where she lived for most of her life before moving to Stoneham ten years ago. Anna was very dedicated to her family and in later years her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her family, she loved to cook and brought her talents to the Whidden Hospital where she worked as a dietary aide for twelve years. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Joseph’s in Everett and belonged to the Italo-Balboa Club of Everett.

In addition to her husband John, Anna was predeceased by her brothers, Frank and Nicholas LaRovere, her sisters, Helen Colasanti, Antoinette Drinkwater and Mary Benedetto.

She is survived by her children, Philip V. Milano and his wife Sandra of Saugus, Kenneth F. Benedetto and his wife Lynne of Woburn, Joanne L. Schuster and her husband Robert of Stoneham, her grandchildren Deborah and Vincent Milano, Robert and Jason Schuster, Sherri and Jodi Benedetto, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and her cherished niece Hilda Colasanti and nephew Richard Drinkwater.

The funeral will be held -from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Wednesday, October 2nd at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Calling hours Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
