Lindmark – in Winchester, August 20th, Gladys R. (MacDonald), beloved wife Harry A. Lindmark, Jr. Devoted mother of Harry A. III and his wife Susan, Kevin G. and his wife Anne, all of Winchester, Carol A. Barbas of Woburn and her late husband Thomas, Janet L. Bouvier and her husband Ronald, and Robert E. and his wife Ann, and Richard J. and his wife Carolyn, all of Billerica. Sister of the late James MacDonald, Jr., Harold, Raymond, and Dorothy MacDonald, Mabel Cavanaugh Smith, and Catherine Larry. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Friday, August 23rd at 9:15 a.m. Funeral mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 79 Sheridan Circle, Winchester, at 10. Winchester. Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery. OBITUARY:

Gladys R. Lindmark of Winchester passed away on Tuesday, August 20th, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford following a long illness. She was the wife of Harry A. Lindmark, Jr. for over fifty-seven years.

Born in Woburn eighty years ago, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine (Mooney) MacDonald. She graduated from Woburn High School with the Class of 1940, and lived in the Mishawum Road area of Woburn before moving to Winchester many years ago.

In earlier years she worked at Barney Callahan’s, which was an ice cream shop in the 1940’s and 50’s.

Mrs. Lindmark was very active in the Immaculate Conception Sodality where she held various offices. Devoted to her family, she enjoyed many family camping trips to the Sebago Lake region. She also enjoyed knitting, and belonged to a knitting club with her friends as her children were growing. An avid bowler, she continued the sport throughout her lifetime.

Preceding her in death were three brothers, James MacDonald, Jr. and Harold and Raymond MacDonald, three sisters, Mabel Cavanaugh Smith, Catherine Larry, and Dorothy MacDonald, and her son-in-law, Thomas A. Barbas.

She leaves four sons: Harry A. III and his wife Susan and Kevin G. and his wife Anne, all of Winchester, Robert E. and his wife Ann, and Richard J. and his wife Carolyn, all of Billerica; two daughters, Carol A. Barbas of Woburn and Janet L. Bouvier and her husband Ronald of Billerica. She also leaves sixteen beloved grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Friday, August 23rd at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in the Immaculate Conception Church, 79 Sheridan Circle, Winchester, at 10. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.

Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
