Curry – In Woburn, August 1st, Anna May (Lally), beloved wife of the late Thomas W. Curry. Devoted mother of Jane A. Temples and her husband John of GA, and Katharine J. Connolly of Burlington and her late husband Thomas. Lovingly survived by five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Monday, August 5th, at 9 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Calling hours Sunday from 7 – 9 p.m. Interment in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Stoughton.

OBITUARY:

Anna May Curry, a resident of Woburn for nearly thirty years, passed away here early this morning at the age of ninety-one. She was the wife of the late Thomas W. Curry, who died in 1958.

Born and raised in Milford, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Dean) Lally. After her graduation from Milford High School, she received training as a registered nurse at Milford Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a private duty nurse and later at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital. She moved to Stoughton when she was married and raised her children there.

In the early 1970’s she took up residence in Woburn and had been active in various church charities.

Surviving are two daughters, Jane A. Temples and her husband John of Midland, Georgia, and Katharine J. Connolly of Burlington and her late husband Thomas.

Also surviving are five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Monday, August 5th, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Stoughton.

Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.
