Fuller in Woburn, July 24th, Muriel A. (Leavitt), beloved wife of the late Sherwood E. Fuller. Devoted mother of Sherwood E. Ed??? Fuller, Jr. and his wife Pat of NC, Frank R. Fuller and his wife Sheila of Reading, Walter R. Fuller and his wife Leslie of Florida, and the late Elsie May Fuller. Sister of the late Madelene Ryan. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Monday, July 29th, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling hours Sunday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Donations may be made in Mrs. Fullers memory to the First Baptist Church, 3 Winn Street, Woburn, MA 01801.
OBITUARY:
Muriel A. Fuller, a resident of Woburn for most of her life, passed away Wednesday at the age of 97. She was the wife of the late Sherwood E. Fuller, who died in 1964.
Born in S. Boston, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elsie M. (Andrews) Leavitt. She was a 1923 graduate of Woburn High School and attended Burdett College.
From the time she was a young girl until just a few years ago, she lived at the corner of Bow and Salem Streets in Woburn, where she also married and raised her family. For over seventy-five years she was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Woburn, and a member of the Womens Circle.
Mrs. Fuller volunteered at the Choate Hospital, and later worked as a secretary there for many years. During World War II she worked as a volunteer for the Red Cross. She enjoyed papering and painting as well as sewing and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elsie May Fuller, and her sister, Madelene Ryan.
Surviving are three sons, Sherwood E. Ed??? Fuller, Jr. and his wife Pat of NC, Frank R. Fuller and his wife Sheila of Reading, and Walter R. Fuller and his wife Leslie of Florida. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Monday, July 29th, at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Mary Bettencourt of the First Baptist Church officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Interment will be in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
