McIntyre – in Woburn, May 22nd, Julia Anne (MacDonald), beloved wife of the late Henry W. McIntyre. Devoted mother of William H. and his wife Sandra, Ronald C. and his wife Barbara, and Brian E. McIntyre, all of Woburn. Sister of John MacDonald of Marlboro and Bernard “Buddy??? MacDonald of Quincy. Also survived by 6 grandchildren and and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, May 25th, at 9:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Calling hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. Donations may be made in Anne’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association, 36 Cameron Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02140.

OBITUARY:

Julia Anne McIntyre, a resident of Woburn for the past twenty-five years, passed away here Wednesday evening, May 22nd, following a lengthy illness. The wife of the late Henry W. McIntyre, who died in 1985, she was 87 years of age.

Born in Fairfield, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Annie (Warner) MacDonald. She grew up in the Allston-Brighton area and graduated from St. Columbkill High School in Brighton. She lived with her family in Malden for many years before taking up residence on Kilby Street in Woburn. In later years she resided at 59 Campbell Street in Woburn.

For a number of years until her retirement twenty-five years ago, Anne worked as a maternity ward secretary at Malden Hospital.

Surviving are three sons, William H. McIntyre and his wife Sandra, Ronald C. McIntyre and his wife Barbara, and Brian E. McIntyre, all of Woburn; Two brothers, John MacDonald of Marlboro, Bernard “Buddy??? MacDonald of Quincy; six grandchildren, Kimberly Talalas and her husband Chris, Cheryl McIntyre and her fiancé, Leigh Gillespie, Linda Adams and her husband Randy, Daniel McIntyre and his wife Pamela, Kathleen McIntyre and her fiancé, Brennan O’Donnell, and Julie Pinto and her husband Joe. Also surviving are four great-grandchildren, Kaila and Jessica Adams and Nicholas and Brandon Talalas.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, May 25th, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 10. Interment will be in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn..

Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
