Robert C. Morgan

Robert C. Morgan, a resident of Woburn for nearly two years, passed away at his home Tuesday evening following a lengthy illness. The husband of Anna (Sepp) Morgan for nearly fifty-one years, he was eighty-four.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Clarence P. and Emma (Schultz) Morgan. He graduated from Drexel University in Philadelphia with an engineering degree. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was honorably discharged with the rank of Captain after having served in the European-African Theater of Operations.

An industrial engineer, Mr. Morgan worked for Lehigh Structural Steel for many years until his retirement. He lived with his family in Allentown, Pennsylvania, before retiring to central Florida over twenty years ago. He enjoyed many summers on the New Jersey shore and traveled throughout the world along with his wife Anna. Two years ago, they took up residence ion Woburn’s West Side with their daughter Barbara and her family.

Surviving in addition to his wife Anna are a son, Robert R. “Randy??? Morgan of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, two daughters, Barbara M. Robinson and her husband Martin of Woburn, and Deborah M. Czyzewski of Rio Grande, New Jersey. He was also the beloved grandfather of six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Arrangements by the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, Woburn.
