Farrow, Robert L. “Buck” – in Woburn, suddenly, April 2nd, beloved husband of Rita A. (McPartlin) Farrow. Devoted father of Lynda A. Peitzsch and her husband William, Bruce E. Farrow and his wife Jeanne, Paul R. Farrow and his wife Pam, and Maureen R. Gaskell and her husband Larry, all of Woburn, William R. Farrow and his wife Donna of Reading, and Deborah J. McNeil and her husband David of Westwood. Dear brother of Roy Farrow of Woburn, Roland Farrow of Florida, Richard Farrow of Burlington, and the late June Farrow. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Friday, April 5th, at 10:30 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 11:15. Calling hours Thursday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. OBITUARY:

Robert L. Farrow, a well-known Woburn resident and retired postal worker, passed away suddenly at Winchester Hospital on Tuesday, April 2nd. The husband of Rita A. (McPartlin) Farrow for over fifty-four years, he was seventy-four years of age.

Born in Amesbury, he was the son of the late William and Irene M. (Grayton) Farrow. He was raised an educated in Woburn, and served in the U.S. Coast Guard in World War II.

For over twenty-five years, he was employed as a letter carrier in Woburn for the U.S. Postal Service. He retired a number of years ago, but maintained his membership in the National Association of Letter Carriers.

“Buck???, as he was affectionately known to family and friends, was an avid golfer and was a member of the Woburn Country Club. He was a Past President of the Towanda Club in Woburn, and held membership in the Woburn Lodge of Elks as well as the VFW. In early years, he was also a member of the Garfield Club, a neighborhood club in Woburn.

He was preceded in death by a sister, June Farrow.

Surviving are three sons, William R. Farrow and his wife Donna of Reading, Bruce E. Farrow and his wife Jeanne, and Paul R. Farrow and his wife Pam, all of Woburn;

three daughters: Lynda A. Peitzsch and her husband William and Maureen R. Gaskell and her husband Larry, all of Woburn, and Deborah J. McNeil and her husband David of Westwood.

He was the beloved grandfather of sixteen grandchildren, Scott and Todd Peitzsch, Bryan and Chad Farrow, Dawn, Michelle, Melissa, and Robert Farrow, Adam Farrow, Julie Katelyn, and J.T. McNeil, and Mandy, Douglas, Meghan, and Laurie Gaskell; and five great-grandchildren: Brandon, Robbie, Joey, Grace, and Morgan.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Friday, April 5th, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, at 11:15. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Donations may be made in Buck’s memory to the Woburn Public Library, c/o Kathleen O’Doherty, 45 Pleasant Street, Woburn, MA 01801.
