Markiewicz – in Woburn, Friday, March 29th, Margaret A. (Glynn). Beloved wife of the late Francis Markiewicz. Devoted mother of Frank E. Markiewicz of Woburn and Sandra J. Gelinas and her husband Allen R. of Lawrence. Dear sister of James Glynn of Beverly, Madeline Sousa of Wilmington, Anna E. Beatrice of Malden and the late Eleanor MacDougall and Mary Schofield. Loving grandmother of Michael P. and Suzanne J. Gelinas, Craig F.,Christopher P., Cara A. and Laura A. Markiewicz. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, Tuesday, April 2nd, at 8:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, North Woburn at 9. Calling hours are Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn. OBITUARY:

Margaret A. (Glynn) Markiewicz passed away at the Nevins Home in Methuen on Friday, March 29th. Beloved wife of the late Frank Markiewicz, she was eighty-one years of age. Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna (Mohan) Glynn.

Margaret was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. She resided in Melrose for a brief time before moving to Woburn in 1953. Mr. and Mrs. Markiewicz made their home in Woburn and it was there that they raised their two children. Most important in Margaret’s life was her family and she devoted her entire life to them.

In addition to her late husband Frank Markiewicz, she was predeceased by her sisters, Eleanor MacDougall and Mary Schofield.

Margaret is survived by her children, Frank E. Markiewicz of Woburn and Sandra J. Gelinas and her husband Allen R. of Lawrence, her brother James Glynn of Beverly, her sisters Madeline Sousa of Wilmington and Anna E. Beatrice of Malden, her grandchildren Michael P. and Suzanne J. Gelinas, Craig F., Christopher P., Cara A., and Laura A. Markiewicz. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 8:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main Street, North Woburn at 9. Interment will take place in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.
