Beaudin – of Woburn, March 27th, Joseph J. “Uncle Joe???, beloved uncle of Debra Rose of Wakefield, Sherri Garvey of Woburn, Stacey LeBlanc of Tyngsboro, Eric Davis of ME, and several other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and a great-grandniece. He also leaves many friends. A funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, March 30th, at 9 a.m. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made in Joe’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.

OBITUARY:

Joseph J. Beaudin, resident of Woburn for over fifty years who recently lived in Stoneham, passed away Wednesday at Winchester Hospital following a brief illness, surrounded by his beloved nieces. He was seventy-nine years of age.

He worked for many years as a communications technician for the James A. Kiley Company in Somerville. Previously he had worked at Farrell’s Gas Station in Woburn’s South End, and also at Greene’s Diner.

“Uncle Joe???, as he was known to friends and family, was a familiar figure in downtown Woburn. He was a daily walker who frequently walked to Hammond Square for breakfast. He was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed yard sales. His grandnieces and nephews were most important to him, and were always involved in his daily activities. He had moved to Stoneham just a few months ago.

Surviving are his nieces, Debra Rose of Wakefield, Sherri Garvey of Woburn, and Stacey LeBlanc of Tyngsboro, his nephew, Eric Davis of Maine; his grandnieces and nephews, Christopher and Katlyn Rose, Sean and Ashley Garvey, Evan LeBlanc, Erica and Kathryn Davis, and his great-grandniece, Kristina Rose. He also leaves many other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, March 30th, at 9 a.m., followed by burial in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
