Trainor, in Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Woburn, March 22nd, William H. “Pie???, beloved husband of Eileen (Shea) Trainor. Devoted father of William C. of VT, Rosemary of Melrose, James K. of Auburn, NH, Matthew M. of Stoneham, Eileen Neubert of Norfolk, Kathleen Baradaran of IN, and Carol Alessandro of Malden. Brother of Eleanor Theriault of FL and the late Mary, Thomas, Edward, and Rev. John J. Trainor. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, on Saturday, June 15th, at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. OBITUARY:

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 15th, for William H. “Pie??? Trainor, 80, a resident of Woburn for most of his life who passed away on Friday, March 22nd, in Boynton Beach, Florida, following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Eileen (Shea) Trainor for over 52 years.

Mr. Trainor was born in Woburn, son of the late Thomas and Rose (Keany) Trainor, and graduated from Woburn High School with the Class of 1941. He attended Peterson School of Engineering.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy and saw service in both theaters of operations. His ship, the Susan B. Anthony, was sunk on D-Day. He was rescued and returned to serve in the Pacific Theater.

For many years, he worked for AVCO, which later was bought out by Textron, as a stationary engineer. He was a member of the Stoneham VFW, and summered at Duxbury Beach for over forty years. After living in Woburn most of his life, he retired to Florida ten years ago along with his wife Eileen.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Thomas, Edward, and the Rev. John J. Trainor, and a sister, Mary A. Trainor.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons: William C. of Vermont, James K. of NH, and Matthew M. of Stoneham, MA; four daughters, Rosemary Trainor of Melrose, Kathleen Baradaran of Grainger, Indiana, Eileen Neubert of Norfolk, and Carol Alessandro of Malden. He also leaves his sister, Eleanor Theriault of Florida, and nine grandchildren.

A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, June 15th, at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.

A memorial mass was celebrated in St. Thomas More Church in Boynton Beach on March 27th.
