Corey – in Woburn, March 21st, Albert M., beloved husband of the late Lena J. (Romano) Corey. Devoted father of Shirley Ann Corey of Oxford, Jeanette M. Corey of Woburn, and Keith A. Corey and his wife Elizabeth of Arlington. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Private graveside services were held at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Donations may be made in Mr. Corey’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Box 318, Memphis, TN 38101. Arrangements were handled by the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.

OBITUARY:

Private services were held on Monday for Albert M. Corey of Woburn, who died at Winchester Hospital on Thursday, March 21st. The husband of the late Lena J. (Romano) Corey, who died just over a year ago, he was eighty-eight years of age.

Born and raised in South Boston, he took up residence in Arlington in 1949, where he lived before retiring to Port Richey, Florida. He worked as a bookbinder for Addison-Wesley Publishing for most of his life. He and his wife Lena were among the founding parishioners of St. Camillus Church in Arlington. They moved to Woburn’s South End eight years ago to live with their daughter Jeanette.

He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Ann Corey of Oxford and Jeanette M. Corey of Woburn, and a son, Keith A. Corey and his wife Elizabeth of Arlington.

He also leaves seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was held Monday at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. There were no calling hours.

Donations may be made in Mr. Corey’s memory to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Box 318, Memphis, TN 38101.

Arrangements were handled by the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn.
